Reorganisation and collective dismissal

Reorganisation and its implications

Organisations may face reorganisation, at one point or another. This process regularly involves a reduction in the labour force and the dismissal of one or more employees. Depending on the number of employees to be released, collective dismissal may be involved. As a result, additional procedures and rules apply.

Heron Legal has extensive experience in offering advice and/or assistance in reorganisations, including those leading to collective dismissals. We offer support throughout the entire process: from the moment the first outline appears, to a possible advisory process with your works council or employee representation body, to negotiating a settlement agreement and proceedings with the employment agency UWV and before a subdistrict court.
